I think it’s really important for people to give to an organization like Forward Lymphoma because you never know when that type of a problem is going to hit home. I had no problems, no pain, and no indication at all that I would have a problem like Hodgkin’s. If I hadn’t been able to see the swelling in the neck area I never would have realized it until it had progressed way beyond what it did, and if it had spread to other areas of my body who knows how the outcome would have been. It’s really important to have that research so that if anyone in your family or if you ever need it, they’ve made the progress, you can’t wait till you get the disease and then decide to do something about it, you got to contribute now and make sure that they get these cures or these treatments in place before you need them. Well, I think it’s really important for people to realize that even though great strides have been made in fighting Lymphoma and Hodgkin’s and Leukemia that were not there yet there’s still a lot to be done. Its important to realize that cancer research in one area could have a profound effect on research in other areas because when they get one breakthrough sometimes it leads to more breakthroughs in other areas, so the research that’s being done can benefit more then just people with Lymphoma it could benefit people with many other types of cancers, and today cancer is so widespread that we need to really fight it with everything we can.
