About Forward Lymphoma

Forward Lymphoma was established to raise funds to develop a preeminent lymphoma research program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Forward Lymphoma proceeds directly benefit the University of Wisconsin Paul P. Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center in the form of advancing lymphoma based research. The Cancer Center is the only comprehensive cancer center in Wisconsin and is one of only 38 comprehensive cancer centers designated by the National Cancer Institute, the lead federal agency for cancer research.

By providing dedicated financial support for lymphoma research, Forward Lymphoma guarantees that leading researchers have the funds required to be successful in finding cures for this disease. Under the leadership of Dr. Brad Kahl, lymphoma research will take an interdisciplinary, translational approach to research. Forward Lymphoma supports Dr. Kahl's innovative research approach combining traditional clinical trials, scientific research, along with translational research which seeks to bridge the gap between classical research and patient trials. This model promotes the physical proximity of researchers, doctors, and patients in order to more quickly advance lymphoma treatment and cures. Forward Lymphoma is the largest private fundraising organization for lymphoma research at the University of Wisconsin.
